Ferroxcube offers optimized materials for different operating conditions. In this case, operating temperature, magnetic flux density and frequency of the most important parameters to select a suitable material. There are materials with an operating temperature standard of 100 ° C or 60 ° C for handsets or 140 ° C in the automotive sector, as well as for a wide temperature range from 20 to 100 or 60 to 140 ° C available. Power transmission power converters operate in response to the conditions voltage, power and cost pressure in a wide range of possible switching frequencies: For each area Ferroxcube offers special materials for a few kHz (inverter, high-voltage systems), medium frequencies in the range 10-100 kHz ( consumer and computer SMPS), hundreds of kHz (high efficiency, compact converters) to MHz have been optimized.
